As a result of a postal vote early June 2008 have the four voting IFMAR Member Blocs, EFRA, FAMAR, FEMCA & ROAR unanimously voted in favor of raise the entry limit to 216 drivers, from 180 drivers to 216 drivers, upgrading the IFMAR spots from 14 to 50.
Heats will be run accordingly to the actual rules and finals also as per the actual rules.
